60th ANNUAL CONFERENCE – ITALIAN ASSOCIATION OF POULTRY SCIENCE

The Italian Branch of the World’s Poultry Science Association will hold its 60th Annual Conference on 9 October 2026 at the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Production, University of Naples Federico II, Naples. T

The conference theme will be “From Hen to Egg: New Sustainability Challenges.”

The scientific programme will address current challenges across the egg production chain, from the territorial and market identity of the poultry sector in Southern Italy to reproductive efficiency, breeder longevity and cryopreservation. Further presentations will focus on in ovo sexing, sustainable second-cycle egg production, hen welfare, environmental efficiency and new perspectives on food safety in the egg products supply chain. The conference will conclude with a general discussion and the Association’s General Meeting.
